Air Marshal Darren Goldie AM CSC, a distinguished veteran with a 30-year career in the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF), has been selected as the first National Cyber Security Coordinator of Australia. Throughout his career, Air Marshal Goldie has held senior positions in strategy and capability development within the Air Force. He also undertook a secondment at the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, where he provided strategic foreign policy advice to the government.
